imageData Group leads the way in data-driven print and imaging. The company prides itself on being at the cutting edge of print technology and this is driven by continuous investment in plant, equipment and people. Following a thorough review of the market, imageData Group is pleased to announce that it has purchased an Inca Onset X3 large format flat-bed UV inkjet press. This represents an investment of circa £1 million and the new digital press is being installed at imageData Group’s Howden site as you read this article.
“Speed, quality and flexibility are three key areas where the Inca Onset X3 is set to deliver benefits to our customers.” stated imageData Group’s, Managing Director for Retail, Paul Price.
“The new press will be twice as quick (900m2 / hour – 180 beds / hour) as our current fastest machines and make-ready times will be drastically reduced, thanks to the 25 zone vacuum table that eliminates the need for masking. This will lead to shorter delivery times and increased output. In terms of quality the X3 produces outstanding consistency and reliability with its 14 channel totally flexible design and 14 or 27-picolitre print heads. Flexibility comes as part of the package; the press can print on a variety of substrates in sizes up to 3.22m x 1.6m and 50mm thickness.” Paul continued.
“The new Inca Onset X3 pushes the boundaries of digital printing technology to the next level. This investment will improve our production capacity and enable us to continue to provide our clients with the very best in customer service from a speed, quality and flexibility perspective.” Paul concluded.
