    Group Human Resources Manager

    Willerby

    A vacancy has arisen at our Willerby site for a Group Human Resources Manager due to retirement.

    We are seeking a HR Manager with extensive HR operational experience to work with the Directors and Senior Managers to provide a business focussed, high quality professional service across our three sites in the UK.

    The successful candidate will be a generalist in HR and be an influential advisor, with the confidence and ability to offer innovative and creative solutions across a wide range of staffing issues.  They will be a highly organised individual, able to handle a diverse workload, which includes recruitment, managing the HR system, running payroll, TUPE and ensuring that the Company is fully compliant in all aspects of current legislation.   CIPD Qualified and a working knowledge of general HR processes and SAGE 50 payroll would be advantageous.  Full clean UK driving licence required for this position.

    Banner Stitcher / Manual Finishing Operative

    An opportunity has arisen at the Howden Site for a banner stitcher / Manual Finishing Operative, working on a day shift.

     

    Working within a busy team environment you will be responsible for stitching large banners for clients on a daily basis and all other aspects of manual finishing processes to ensure production output continually meets specified quality standards within agreed timescales.

     

    Duties will include stitching together large banners by a hand fed large industrial sewing machine (training will be provided) , set up tables ready for packing, run packing list lines, pick and collate to a list, check, finish and package product goods and assemble and label boxes ready for despatch.

     

    Applicants must have a good eye for detail and be able to work to quality standards and be organised and flexible. Experience of print finishing is desirable.

    Your duties will include keeping the production and outdoor areas clean and tidy, including the removal and emptying of the waste bins on a regular basis and ensuring the waste is segregated into the correct bins for recycling.  Other adhoc duties will include using a floor sweeping machine, finding and moving material stock to and from presses, mopping floors, and assisting in the production area if required.

     

    The use of a pallet truck / Forklift is essential to this role.

    Candidates need to be hard working with a flexible approach to work. You must be able to work unsupervised as well as within a team. As with previous holders of this position, for the right candidate this vacancy offers an excellent opportunity to progress into production roles as they become available.

    Your role will include a variety of general administrative tasks such as maintaining and updating excel spreadsheets, typing letters, arranging / collating information, maintaining records and providing a comprehensive administration service to Directors and Managers.  Other duties may include hospitality and reception duties.

     

    The successful candidate will have good numerical, written and verbal communication skills and be able to work to tight deadlines. Accuracy, confidentiality, discretion and integrity are key requirements for this position.     An opportunity has arisen at the Howden Site for a Digital Print Operatives, working on various shift patterns.

    In this busy role, your main duties will be to produce high quality large and small format printing to client specifications, using a range of digital press processes and equipment. You will be expected to carryout routine machine maintenance and repairs to keep the presses in optimum condition as well as general housekeeping.

    The successful candidate should ideally have experience and knowledge of digital printing processes, press-operating methods and engineering technology.
